Dominique Stapleton
After working with athletes on their finances for a few years Dominique wanted to offer her clients more. In 2020 Dominique became a Certified NBA and FIBA sports agent. As an agent and athlete advocated Dominique vows to be the bridge between athlete success off and on the field.
Creating courses such as the Extra Credit Program and Financially Fit Athletes Dominique has been able to educate and impact the lives of countless athletes and their families.

Classye James
Classye is the Founder and CEO of Shakeout LLC, a consulting business assisting athletes during their transition out of competitive athletics. Additionally, she is an Operations Manager at Cisco Systems a part of the Cisco Webex organization whose responsibility is to help support, transform and scale a $1B+ cloud collaboration business. She has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for projects in which she has led, and was the first Cisco employee to lead a project in which an NBA player was featured in a Webex marketing campaign.

CIAA Commissioner
Jackie McWilliams
Jacqueline (Jacqie) McWilliams was named the Commissioner for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in 2012. She became the first female to serve as Commissioner for the CIAA and was the first appointed African-American female Commissioner representing NCAA Division I, II and III.

Prior to being named Commissioner for the CIAA, McWilliams spent nine years at the NCAA managing NCAA championships to include both the men’s and women’s Division I Basketball tournaments. She started her career in coaching, compliance and administration at Virginia Union University with career growth opportunities at the CIAA, Norfolk State University and Morgan State University prior to the NCAA.

​McWilliams is the Co-Founder/CEO of Sudden Change LLC and she lives out her mission daily to advocate, serve and transform. Sports has been her pathway to finding success. She is a mentor and sponsor in the industry, woman of faith, motivational speaker, volunteers in her community, an active member of the Charlotte Crown Jewels Links Chapter of Charlotte and Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple (VA). Mrs. McWilliams Parker is the proud mother of Samone and wife to Shaun Parker, a former Hampton student-athlete and coach.

Monique Smith
Monique A.J. Smith, a Sports Management veteran of over 30 years, is a leadership strategist for Athletic Departments/Sports Organizations and Individuals who wish to advance in Athletics/Sports Business. Smith is a Hampton University Adjunct Professor, a Co-Author, Magazine Publisher, and a Podcast host of the nationally recognized weekly podcast "A Chat in the Garden with Monique A.J. Smith, Where Significance Blooms in Athletics & Sports" that spotlights Women of Color in Athletics/Sports to 2.5K Followers. Smith writes about her Athletic Administration Journey in the chapter entitled “Public Figure Mask” that appears in the Anthology “Removing the Face”. Senior Manager, Marketing & Engagement Platforms
DeAná Tyler
DeAna Tyler joined the Washington Commanders November 1, 2021, as the Senior Manager of Marketing and Engagement Platforms. Tyler’s role encourages fan engagement, creates opportunities for the youth and incorporates alumni participation in Commanders activities. In her short time with the team, she has taken lead on game themes such as Fan Appreciation, HBCU Night and Inspire Change. Additionally, Tyler is continuing to work on the renaming/rebranding of the team in celebration of the Commanders 90th season this fall.
Before joining the Washington Commanders, Tyler arrived at Lamar University May 15, 2019, as the Director of Athletic Development and Major Gifts. Tyler was tasked with the role of increasing participation and donor support of the Bud Leonard Athletic Fund and the Lettermen’s Club. Over her two years, Tyler saw an increase of 27% in both athletic groups. As an added benefit, there was an increase of engagement in all Bud Leonard Athletic Fund digital media efforts and social fan participation by over 200%.

Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations
Dr. Jolisa Williams
In August 2021, Dr. Jolisa Williams arrived at Bowie State University after spending six years (2015-2021) at Shaw University as the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations.
Williams took over the Department of Media Relations at Bowie State after long-time Sports Information Director and legend Gregory Goings, retired serving in the departments capacity for nearly 18 years.
Williams is responsible for coordinating media relations efforts for all 13 of Bowie State's athletic programs.
